The Esports Awards has announced that Thunderpick has become the presenting partner and official iGaming partner of the 2026 Esports Awards, in a deal that is set to run for the next 12 months.

The partnership sees the Thunderpick name added to the 2026 event as a presenting partner, with the awards now being known as the Esports Awards Presented by Thunderpick. The company will also present three of the biggest awards at the show, in the form of Esports Play of the Month, Esports Play of the Year and Streamer of the Year.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Thunderpick as the Presenting Partner of the 2026 Esports Awards,” said Michael Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards. “This partnership goes far beyond the awards ceremony, with Thunderpick supporting key moments across our events, content, and business programming. Together, we’re looking forward to delivering an exciting 2026 programme and celebrating the people and moments that continue to define esports.”

As well as supporting the main event, which takes place in Miami on November 17th, Thunderpick will also support the Esports Awards content throughout the year. The deal sees them work with the Esports Awards on content and original storytelling such as the Esports Play of the Month and the Origins Podcast series.

“We’re excited to partner with the Esports Awards to celebrate the people and moments that make this community what it is. The Awards and content series give fans a closer look at the players who have helped shape the scene, and that’s what makes this partnership exciting for us. There’s so much happening outside of the games that deserves a bigger spotlight, and we’re excited to help bring those stories to life.” said Kelly Sanders, Head of Strategy at Thunderpick.

Media outlet Hotspawn will be the Presenting Partner for the Esports Awards Invitational, Lifetime Achievement Mixer, and PWR UP B2B Conference.

Taking place in Miami on November 17th, the Esports Awards honours the best the esports industry has to offer, from the obvious such as top players and teams from the prior 12 months, through to the less obvious such as companies that work behind the scenes and brands that sponsor the industry. The event has been running for over 10 years, honoring some of the all time greats over that time.

Voting is currently underway, with fans having a say, along with the Esports Awards panel, on who walks away with the big prizes on the night. Nine awards are currently open for voting, ranging from Esports Game of the Year and Esports Mobile Game of the Year through to individual awards such as Streamer of the Year and Esports Personality of the Year. Fans can vote daily, with votes cast in the final week, November 3rd to November 10th, counting double.
