With almost four out of five employees now working in a hybrid capacity, the line between professional headsets and a personal pair of headphones has become somewhat blurred. Swapping between corporate-issued headsets for Zoom calls and a sleek pair of consumer headphones for an evening walk listening to music has become a daily friction point for millions of knowledge workers.

Keyboard and mouse brand Logitech wants to bridge that gap with the newly announced Zone Vibe Pro and Zone Vibe Pro for Business headsets. The dual-purpose over-ear headsets have a boomless design and are made for video meetings during working hours as well as personal streaming when the laptop closes at the end of the working day.

Rather than leaning into the traditional call center headset with an extended boom microphone, the Zone Vibe Pro features a new low-profile design. Under the hood, AI-powered noise-reduction microphones have been used to isolate the user’s voice from distractions like background office chatter, household noises or the cacophony of street traffic when making a call.

For enjoying music, podcasts, and media, the new headsets are equipped with custom-built 40mm dynamic drivers and Adaptive Noise Cancellation that can block out unwanted ambient sounds.

“Modern professionals working across open offices, at home, or on the go shouldn’t need multiple audio solutions for work and life,” says Joseph Mingori, VP and general manager of mobile and audio solutions at Logitech. “Zone Vibe Pro solves that problem by giving employees the option of great sound everywhere with comfortable fit, while giving IT teams reliable, certified hardware.”

Alongside the consumer edition of the Zone Vibe Pro headset, Logitech is also rolling out the Zone Vibe Pro for Business. This version has been tailored specifically for corporate IT environments and can be deployed en masse .

The enterprise version of the Zone Vibe Pro is certified for Microsoft Teams (Premium Microphone for Open Office), Zoom and Google Meet. To simplify the rollout and management of a fleet of headsets, IT administrators can monitor devices, roll out firmware updates and adjust user settings remotely with Logitech’s Sync software.

Logitech has also prioritized sustainability and repairability with these new headsets by using recycled materials. The plastic components of the Zone Vibe Pro contain at least 29% certified post-consumer recycled material, while the magnets in the drivers are made from 100% recycled rare earth metals. The rechargeable battery relies on 100% recycled cobalt and to reduce e-waste, the headband, earpads and batteries can all be easily replaced by the end user.
