Fortnite is done being coy about what may end up being its second biggest Fortnitemares collab after Five Nights at Freddy’s , as certainly nothing is topping that. Fortnite will cross over with one of the biggest breakout horror movies of the last decade, Obsession , which set almost too many box office records to count, and may actually have snagged another one with Fortnite here.

Fortnite showed off the infamous One Wish Willow from Obsession in a new teaser , which joined a past tease of a duct-taped shut door it has previously shown . Now it’s officially official, and we may be about to see one of the the fastest skin/cosmetic turnaround times in Fortnite history.

Epic has recently been jumping on breakout IPs when they blow up in the pop culture scene. The property that I believe held the previous record was 2025’s Kpop Demon Hunters. Once it was clear that it was a megahit, Epic dropped everything to work on skins and cosmetics for the movie. Kpop Demon Hunters premiered on Netflix on June 20, 2025, and its skins hit the Fortnite item shop on October 2, 2025, around 3.5 months later.

Obsession is about to hit a similar marker, and will at least set the record for a live-action project, it would seem. Obsession was out May 15, 2026, and assuming that the crossover arrives at Fortnitemares start tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 1, that is 4.5 months. A bit over Kpop Demon Hunters, but I don’t think there’s an equal among live-action or theatrically released movies or shows or video games.

The question of which cosmetics will arrive, aside from one obvious one, remains to be seen. That is obviously Nikki, played by breakout star Inde Navarrette, who may end up with an Oscar nomination and is now playing Rogue in the MCU, all happening in the span of four months. I would imagine her base style might be her “party” look (minus blood streaming down her face, which is a no-no for Fortnite ) and then her Sarah look after she kills her and tries to dress up like her, complete with scalp.

I kind of doubt that there will be more skins past Nikki like Ian, Sarah or Bear. Bear might be the obvious choice as the co-lead of the film, but there is the complication that he’s the true villain of the movie, realizing that the Nikki he knew is trapped in the body of this new, obsessed Nikki, and as such, his actions are deemed to make him a rapist. I do not imagine Fortnite wants to go there, nor do I think people are clamoring for a Bear skin the first place. But other cosmetics? One-Wish Willow back bling, perhaps. I am…not quite sure past that. It’s not like Nikki has some sort of iconic weapon (I’m not going to count the brick). So perhaps the crossover will be minimal, and mainly about her skin. Though maybe there could be some in-game elements as well.

Nikki and Obsession will join a growing list of horror figures this Fortnitemares, which includes confirmed collabs featuring FNAF, Freddy Krueger, The Purge, Slender Man, Beetlejuice and Black Clover. The Exorcist and Trick ‘r’ Treat are also rumored. Some are wondering what horror icons are even left for Fortnite to bring over after yearly Fortnitemares events grab so much. I guess we’ll find out in 2027.
