The upcoming remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has a new overview trailer, showing off lots of lovely gameplay, and it looks wondrous.

Apart from the familiar aspects from the original game, we also see more about how you can actually sing along now to activate the in-game Ocarina and an all-new stadium full of fallen enemies, which you can also battle at your leisure.

While I was a little weirded out by the new facial modeling, it’s beginning to grow on me and bothers me a lot less than when I initially saw it.

The game also looks genuinely stunning throughout, and is definitely the game I wanted to play when the original Nintendo 64 version was released.

That’s because it’s no secret that the original Ocarina of Time is not my favorite Zelda game.

It’s not even in my top five . Much of that was down to the structure of the game; it was much larger than the prior 2D games (so it took forever to get anywhere), and the performance on the Nintendo 64 was terrible.

That said, I did fall in love with the Nintendo 3DS remakes of both Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask . To the extent that I unlocked absolutely everything in those games.

However, from what this new trailer shows, I may have to update my top five list of Zelda games come this November.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time is released for the Switch 2 on November 5.
