VisionQuest aired its first two episodes this week on Disney+ , and while it has okay reviews compared to the rest of the MCU shows on the service, fans are interested in watching the finale of the WandaVision trilogy, which had Agatha All Along as its second entry. That show focused on Billy Maximoff/Wiccan, Wanda’s witchy son, and now in this third installment, he’s here to connect with his brother, the Speedster Tommy.

Tommy actor Ruaridh Mollica has already let it slip that Joe Locke’s Billy Maximoff is in the show, talking about how he enjoyed filming with him in the MCU before they did a play together. So that’s confirmed. But what almost everyone has missed is that we have already seen Billy in the very first episode of VisionQuest .

There’s a sequence when we first meet Tommy where he and fellow con artist Lisa are walking through the streets after some thievery. In two separate shots, you briefly see a person who absolutely looks like Joe Locke, who is very distinctive-looking, and it seems like way too much of a coincidence for it to be some random background extra. See here:

Given that this is the final chapter in the Wanda and Vision saga (well, at least about their specific family story, they could show up as secret Avengers cameos), it stands to reason that of course Billy and Tommy would finally unite in this series. Agatha All Along ended with Billy fully embracing his magic powers, and Tommy is at least starting to develop his super speed, although he’s not exactly zooming around like his uncle Quicksilver yet. Or like the Wanda-created magic version of himself when he was a kid in Westview.

The main question is when the two will actually meet up, and Vision will meet his second son. Actually, scratch that; the main question is whether this Wanda-led trilogy is actually going to bring Wanda back from the dead in some form or another, as it would seem rather odd if not. Fans have been dying for her to return for years, and there is currently a theory that she, or some version of her, is alive, but unfortunately serving Doctor Doom as a masked magic soldier, something that may be revealed in Doomsday . Regardless, fans want Wanda back in any capacity. If she is in Doomsday , perhaps she won’t be revealed in VisionQuest after all, though I think that would damage the series a bit.

So yes, that’s very clearly Billy. I mean, it’s fuzzy, but you know what I mean, especially given the fact that he will appear at some point in the show. This was just an early preview.
