I don’t know what to make of Monday’s episode of Raw on Netflix from San Diego. There’s a WWE Championship match on tap between Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn , despite both being SmackDown Superstars. And we’re not sure if this is going to be on the live stream. Also, Carmelo Hayes and the 946 are likely to address the WWE Universe after forming their five-person faction. This episode could impact Crown Jewel and Survivor Series. Let’s talk wrestling.

WWE Raw Oct. 19 Key Facts

What’s on the WWE Raw Oct. 19 Card?

Zayn regained the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown on Sept. 11. The match with Rhodes was originally set for Raw in Chicago on July 6, before Gunther took Rhodes out ahead of the bout.

The rest of the announced card includes the return of Roman Reigns and a singles match between Joe Hendry and JD McDonagh . Raw starts at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) on Netflix from Pechanga Arena.

Why Did Carmelo Hayes Join 946?

Hayes joined 946 on the Oct. 12 episode of Raw. He attacked The Bloodline during 946’s six-man match against Jey Uso , Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa , which ended in a no contest. It was the faction’s in-ring debut.

Hayes’ flip to 946 was the best thing that has happened to him since he was called up from NXT. While he had a series of stellar matches for the US title and a run with the strap, this move was a next-level transition and it could vault him into the main card.

It was also the right move for 946. While Royce Keys has set the tone for the faction, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price provide the muscle and Jaida Parker delivers with presence, attitude and the essential female element, Hayes comes through with swag.

How Could Raw Affect Crown Jewel and Survivor Series?

Zayn is already scheduled to defend against Reigns for the Crown Jewel Championship at Crown Jewel on Nov. 7, and a Rhodes win on Monday would change that plan. Survivor Series follows on Nov. 28 at Daikin Park in Houston, the event’s 40th anniversary show.
