Authenticator apps present an even more powerful form of two-factor authentication by linking 2FA to a user’s account and then generating a code that is automatically changed every 30 to 60 seconds. Instead of getting a code via text message, users get a more secure solution.
It is worth noting that these types of privacy innovations can also increase convenience for web users. Properly set up password managers can automatically fill in login information across synced devices, which makes web browsing easier even as it also enhances security.
AI Is Accelerating Both Risk And Innovation
Artificial intelligence has dramatically increased the value of personal information while simultaneously creating new methods for protecting it.
