During UFC 331, the main card and prelims were announced for UFC 334 in Madison Square Garden. The main event will see reigning heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane taking on No. 4 contender, Josh Hokit. Gane was elevated to undisputed heavyweight champion after former champ, Tom Aspinall was stripped of the title due to an eye injury he suffered in his fight with Gane after illegal eye pokes.

Hokit has used Octagon toughness and disgusting behavior to put himself in a position to win the world title at MSG. Hello, it’s 2026.

The co-main event will see reigning UFC women’s bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison against former champ, Amanda Nunes. That’s a great fight. The card will also see Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson facing Charles Radtke. The fight will be Wonderboy’s final fight in the Octagon.

The UFC released the lineup as two bout lists without labeling which fights sit on the main card, and the graphic notes that bout order is subject to change. The event runs under its sponsored name, Polymarket UFC 334 .

Gane-Hokit is the right heavyweight fight for the title. However, the division won’t really feel settled until Aspinall comes back and gets his chance to fight for the title he never lost traditionally.

Harrison-Nunes is a dream fight and it’s great to see the champion with an opportunity to accomplish the goal she set for herself when she began in MMA. There’s a lot of intrigue here.

How will Harrison rebound after a serious neck injury. Nunes is widely regarded as the G.O.A.T, but she is 38 and hasn’t fought in three years. There are questions on both sides and those variables make the fight all the more compelling.

Wonderboy never won the UFC title, but he is among the best fighters to have never won a UFC championship. After a long career, it’s good to see him get some love in his final fight.
