UFC 332 Results, Bonus Winners and Highlights
UFC Salt Lake City set a record for finishes, crowned a new UFC women’s flyweight champion and shipped out a boatload of bonus money for the event’s fighters.
In the main event, Natalia Silva became the new 125-pound champion as she outslugged Wang Cong to claim the vacated title. Silva’s speed and dexterity were the keys through the first three rounds. She did slow down a bit in the fourth and fifth rounds, and Wang made a late charge. However, the lead was too big for the Chinese fighter to overcome.
Silva is now the fourth champion in the division’s history. The former champion, Valentina Shevchenko, who was stripped of the title congratulated Silva, but warned she was coming back for her belt.
The event set a record for first-round finishes and knockdowns. Here’s a look at all of the results, the bonus winners and highlights.
