Hey there, Connectors! I hope your week’s off to a great start.

I wager that you might already have a bunch of games in your daily rotation, but here’s another one for you to consider. A colleague told me about Krillion the other day. This is a trivia game that’s a little like Pointless .

Everyone gets the same seven questions every day, and the idea is to figure out an uncommon, but still correct answer within 25 seconds. The rarer your answers, the more points you get. I’ve been enjoying this one, even if I did totally blank on a country that has both “O” and “R” in its name.

Today’s Connections answers are...

  • 🟨 Yellow group — financial firms, for short (BERKSHIRE, CITI, GOLDMAN, MERRILL)
  • 🟩 Green group — kinds of chairs (ADIRONDACK, EAMES, WINDSOR, WINGBACK)
  • 🟦 Blue group — _____ inn hotels (COMFORT, DAYS, HAMPTON, HOLIDAY)
  • 🟪 Purple group — ending in talents (CATSKILL, KNICKKNACK, PIANOFORTE, STABILITY)

CITI and BERKSHIRE made the yellows easy for me to see, while HAMPTON and COMFORT did the same for the blues.

EAMES and WINGBACK had to be types of chairs. Nothing else made sense to me. It took a moment (okay, and some trial and error) for me to realize what went with them. Once the purples were on the bottom line, the category jumped out at me. I sent those on their merry way to seal my 583rd straight victory.
