Star Wars Zero Company: Release Date, Platforms, And Pre-Order Guide
Are you a major Star Wars fan who will play just about any game that comes from that brilliant universe? OK, I have a second qualifying question. Are you a fan of turn-based tactics titles?
If you answered yes to either of those questions — and definitely if you nodded to both — you'll likely be into Star Wars Zero Company. The next Star Wars game is on the way. Let's talk video games.
Star Wars Zero Company at a glance
- Release date: Thursday, August 27, 2026
- Platforms: PC (Steam, EA App, Epic), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S
- No last-gen support, no Nintendo Switch version
- Standard Edition: $49.99 on PC, $59.99 on consoles
- Deluxe Edition: $59.99 on PC, $69.99 on consoles, digital only
- Pre-order bonus, all editions: Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack
- Developer: Bit Reactor, with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games
- Genre: Single-player turn-based tactics, set in the Clone Wars
- No early access window on any edition
There is no early access on any edition, so August 27 is the date regardless of which version you buy. Story squadmates carry the same permadeath rules as the mercenaries you build yourself.
Bit Reactor CEO Greg Foertsch, previously art director on the modern XCOM games, said his team " poured everything we love about Star Wars" into it. You gotta respect labors of love.

The Collector’s Edition is for real ones only. The $300 price tag won’t scare off the most intense Star Wars fanatics. If your eyes got as large as Yoda’s when you read that, you might not be the target audience for it. It’s OK, you can still be a jedi.
