The legendary Autobot commander from Transformers Victory, Star Saber, is set to receive a stunning, highly stylized transforming die-cast collectible next year.

A Legacy Rooted in Mecha History

For those unfamiliar with Transformers Victory, the series captured audiences as a major television hit in Japan during the late 1980s, though it did not officially arrive in the United States until 2012. Long before its western debut, the anime achieved legendary status among mecha enthusiasts, driven by exceptional animation and a powerhouse creative team.

Most notably, iconic mechanical designer Kunio Okawara co-created the Autobot leader Star Saber before spearheading the Brave series, widely recognized as a spiritual successor to the Transformers franchise. Consequently, Star Saber remains an enduring icon within both the broader mecha community and the Transformers universe.

The New Adamas Machina Edition

While collectors celebrated the massive, screen-accurate Masterpiece figure released in 2015, the upcoming Adamas Machina variant introduces an entirely new level of excitement.

Collectors might notice a familiar aesthetic, as the design builds upon Flame Toys' heavily stylized interpretation. However, unlike standard Flame Toys releases—which typically omit transformation mechanics—this new iteration fully transforms into its alternate mode.

Beyond its transformation capabilities, the Adamas Machina version incorporates sturdy die-cast metal components alongside an extensive collection of accessories and interactive gimmicks.

Fans hope this high-profile release might also prompt Shout! Factory to reissue its Transformers Victory home video collection, ideally upgraded to high-definition Blu-ray.
