Satechi Grows ChargeView Collection With A New 240W Six Port Charger
Technology brand Satechi has been releasing new products at breakneck speed recently. One of the latest devices from the San Diego company is a new member of the brand’s ChargeView series of high-tech chargers.
The ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger is based on Satechi’s ChargeView 140W charger and has a similar design with a color display and a precision desktop stand. This is a power charger designed for anyone who has multiple devices to power or charger such as a laptop, phone or tablet.
The new charger is designed to make power consumption visible. With 240W of total power output available across six USB-C ports, the ChargeView 240W includes a color LCD that displays live readings of the wattage being consumed by the devices plugged into each port so that users can see just how much charge each device is getting.
“With the ChargeView 140W, we set out to make desktop power more visible and the response confirmed that users want that clarity in their setup,” says Brock Guclu, co-founder and president of Satechi. “ChargeView 240W takes that further, delivering the output that creators and professionals with demanding desks need without compromising on the design or the transparency that defines the collection.”
The ChargeView 240W’s built-in color LCD shows live wattage readings across all devices, including dual MacBook Pros, tablets, phones and other gadgets. Powered by next-generation GaN technology, the charger is designed to deliver efficient and stable charging for sustained desktop use without heat buildup or adding noise to the workspace.
An intelligent power controller is built into the ChargeView 240W that auto-detects the power requirements demanded by each device. It then balances the output across all the active ports, keeping every device charged efficiently, quietly and without overheating.
A total of six USB-C ports deliver up to 240W of total output. Ports C1 and C2 support up to 140W each via USB PD 3.2 EPR AVS, suitable for fast charging the iPhone 17 Series and later, as well as USB PD 3.0 PPS for optimized compatibility with Samsung’s Galaxy S25+, Google’s Pixel 9+ and other supported devices. Ports C3 and C4 can deliver up to 100W each, while the C5 and C6 can deliver up to 30W each, all with USB PD 3.0 PPS. However, the total power budget is capped at 240W so the devices will share that as appropriate.
The ChargeView 240W is available in Space Black with a metallic matte finish and a glossy borderless display cover designed to complement the MacBook Pro, Apple Studio Display and other dark-palette workspaces.
Included with the new charger is a precision stand that can hold the charger in vertical and horizontal placement. In horizontal orientation, the stand tilts the charger slightly forward for easier viewing when the user is seated. When used in vertical orientation, the footprint of the charger is minimized so that the compact size of the charger doesn’t occupy too much valuable desk space.
