Samsung Galaxy Smart Glasses Design Range Outed Ahead Of Release
A leak has revealed what the upcoming Samsung Galaxy smart glasses will look like, and you won’t be limited to a couple of styles.
Sammyguru has published images of nine frame styles Samsung will apparently release in partnership with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster, mirroring Meta’s collaboration with Ray-Ban.
There are six frames from Gentle Monster, three frames from Warby Parker , and this is claimed to represent the entire launch line-up.
Samsung’s Warby Parker designs are called Alden, Reid and Wren, and are variations on a fairly standard-looking thicker-rimmed theme. Some of the Gentle Monster styles devaite a little further from this norm, with oval-shaped lenses and frames that might be considered more feminine.
Alongside differing frame styles, the Samsung Galaxy Glasses will come with clear, tinted or sunglasses-like lenses.
The plan is to reportedly launch the Samsung Galaxy glasses for the U.S. and South Korean markets in November, with the Warby Parker designs set to be U.S. exclusives. It makes sense given Warby Parker operates in the U.S. and Canada, while Gentle Monster is a South Korean brand with a presence across a bunch of countries including Australia, Thailand, the UK and the U.S., among others.
These glasses are entirely different to the Galaxy XR headset Samsung has focused on to date. They are simpler, screen-free wearables with a microphone array, speakers and a camera — the kind currently going through a “perv glasses” backlash from the wider public, largely owing to users of the Ray-Ban Meta pairs.
Samsung Galaxy Smart Glasses Features
The Samsung Galaxy Glasses — name to be confirmed — are rumored to have a 12-megapixel camera capable of recording video at up to 3K resolution, at 30 frames per second. And they use the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor seen in the Ray-Ban Meta series.
Samsung’s relationship with Google for its wearables is long-standing, meaning the Galaxy Glasses will rely on Google Gemini as the main AI interface point, rather than a Samsung alternative.
A couple of the leaked frames have already been shown by Samsung as part of the announcement of the range and the Warby Parker/Gentle Monster partnerships, in July 2026.
“Built on the Android XR platform, the intelligent eyewear blends world-class designs with Gemini’s advanced assistance that naturally responds to what you see, delivering all-day, hands-free help,” is the official pitch from Sameer Samat, Google president of the Android ecosystem.
Pricing for the Samsung Galaxy smart glasses is yet to be leaked or announced but the standard has been set by the $379 Ray Ban Meta. You can expect something in that ballpark.
