WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Results: What’s Next For Roman Reigns And Sami Zayn?

Observant followers of WWE Raw could easily spot the trajectory of the red brand's flagship storyline: an imminent collision between its premier factions inside WarGames at Survivor Series.

Up until recent weeks, Reigns had largely managed to sidestep the wrath of stable 946, even as the ruthless heel faction targeted his cousins within The Bloodline. Having successfully neutralized Zayn at Crown Jewel, Reigns's schedule is now wide open to address the threat of 946 in the coming weeks.

Given the explosive brawling between 946 and The Bloodline on the prior edition of Raw, a WarGames showdown at Survivor Series in just three weeks appears all but guaranteed. With NXT standout Cruz Montana officially rounding out 946 as its fifth male competitor, the final puzzle piece for the match is the highly anticipated return of Jacob Fatu, who is primed to fill the fifth slot for The Bloodline.

As this simmering rivalry reaches its boiling point, Zayn's trajectory on the SmackDown brand remains slightly more fluid.

Zayn has shouldered a massive target as WWE Champion for weeks, and that bullseye just expanded after coming within a whisker of pinning Reigns at Crown Jewel. A tainted defeat against the OTC suits his current heel persona perfectly, and with Cody Rhodes defeating Randy Orton in a de facto number one contender's match at Crown Jewel, a future program with "The American Nightmare" looms as a distinct possibility.

Even if creative steers clear of that specific angle immediately, Zayn's phenomenal showing at Crown Jewel will dominate discussions on SmackDown. Expect the outspoken champion to waste no time boasting about his performance, practically guaranteeing that his next challenger will step forward without delay.
