AI brand Plaud has announced the Plaud One Explorer Edition , a device that can be worn as earbuds or used through its standalone charging case. Plaud One has been designed for people who need to capture live conversations, understand intent and context in real time and then generate actions.

According to Plaud, conversations are where the most valuable work happens. The decisions made on a phone call, ideas raised in a meeting, commitments agreed to in passing between one meeting and the next. However, rarely are these nuances captured and noted down. They might get written down later, but details could be incomplete and lacking in detail.

Plaud One is an AI-powered wearable designed to close that information gap. It pairs the device with a new generation of the Plaud Intelligence platform, bringing deeper memory and persistent context that can draw connections across conversations that could happen days or even weeks apart. Rather than treating each one in isolation, Plaud One is designed to move beyond capture and understanding to act, translating into the initiating, executing and completion of tasks.

Thanks to a built-in eSIM with 4G LTE connectivity, Plaud One works independently of a phone, allowing the device to record calls, online meetings, in-person conversations and ideas on the go. It automatically uploads conversations for transcription and summarization as they happen. This creates an up-to-date layer of context that can be used to connect decisions across meetings, prepare follow-ups, generate reports and act across connected tools.

At the center of the device is Plaud Agent, which uses the context and ideas captured from conversations to create actionable insights and then acts on them end-to-end. By integrating with the tools that people already use, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion and Slack, Plaud Agent does away with the need to switch to a different platform to complete tasks.

To ensure every task is handled the right way, Plaud Agent can draw on a library of workflows known as Skills and curated collections of workflows designed for specific roles known as Plugins.

Plaud Agent also produces finished work products, from emails to documents and presentations. These outputs are the ready to edit; share or export the moment they are generated.

Plaud claims that, in practice, that could involve a sales manager stepping out of a client meeting and having a follow-up email ready before their next call begins, or a consultant turning a full day of workshop discussion into a structured findings report without opening a laptop. A chief of staff might set up a standing Monday briefing that reviews the prior week’s conversations automatically, while an executive walking into a meeting could ask for a quick recap of where things left off with that client last time.

These new Plaud Intelligence capabilities will become available across all Plaud products through the Plaud App 4.0 update. It will introduce a completely redesigned interface, providing seamless navigation across Plaud Intelligence features.
