‘Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake’ Gets A New Demo Following Fan Feedback
In a nice bit of news, the upcoming Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake has received a new demo following the prior demo’s fan feedback.
The first demo was released back in February, and when I covered it , the fan reaction was pretty brutal in the Discussion section of the game’s official Steam page .
Since then, Forever Entertainment has gone back and taken the feedback to heart, with a new demo for the game now released along with an updated trailer (shown below).
The comments both on the trailer are much happier, but it’s clear that this remake still has a way to go before it receives the stamp of approval from fans.
While I am not really in agreement with a lot of this feedback, I do think it’s great that Forever Entertainment is listening to the fans on this.
For many, Panzer Dragoon Zwei is the definitive shooting installment in the Panzer Dragoon series, so any kind of remake will have a lot to live up to.
The remake for the first game also received quite a bit of criticism at launch, but Forever Entertainment worked hard to patch the game. The final version was actually very good .
This time around, they are using demos to gauge the fan reaction and make amendments before the game launches, which is not a bad strategy.
There’s still no word on when Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake will be released, but for now at least we have a new demo available via Steam .
