PAC aka Benjamin Satterley died on Sunday, September 27. The news sent shockwaves through the pro wrestling community. On Monday, the Cook County medical examiner’s office released the following report, per the Daily Herald : “Satterley’s body was spotted by a passerby in a rental car on the 2700 block of Mannheim Road, a Des Plaines spokesperson said Monday. The passerby called 911. Satterley was alone when he was found. There were no indications of foul play or trauma, and Satterley’s death didn’t appear suspicious.”

The location is near O’Hare International Airport. PAC had performed at AEW All Out the night before at the NOW Arena. An official cause of death hasn’t been released. He was 40. Let’s talk wrestling.

The medical examiner’s office confirmed Satterley was pronounced dead at 4:08 p.m. and that an autopsy was performed Monday, with cause and manner of death pending additional testing that could take several weeks.

The details about the rental car and the 911 call came from a Des Plaines city spokesperson. Des Plaines police separately said the circumstances are not considered suspicious.

Tributes Across Wrestling

PAC’s reach across the entire wrestling community — regardless of promotion — was evident. Tributes poured in from many of his contemporaries from AEW and the ones he used to work with in WWE during his time there as Adrian Neville and Neville.

I’d expect to see a tribute of some sort on WWE Raw on Monday and especially on AEW programming for the entire week and likely during its next pay-per-view.
