EA NHL 27’s full release is around the corner. If you pre-ordered a little late, you can still get in on early access. Pre-order the Deluxe Edition before the September 11 release date and you can start playing immediately. Let’s talk NHL 27.

NHL 27 Early Access Key Facts

Early access began September 4 and closes September 10 , so the window is three days from shutting. The Deluxe upcharge runs $30 over Standard by reported pricing, and it is the only route to playing before Friday if you are buying the game. If you are not, EA Play members get a 10-hour trial that also opened September 4. Connor McDavid arrives at 99 overall, the first 99 in series history.

Which version should you buy — the Standard or Deluxe Edition? It really comes down to Ultimate Team. If you’re not a big HUT player, you can probably just cop the Standard edition. The biggest thing you’ll miss is the early access. Deluxe Edition gets you a week headstart and all of the HUT goodies. It’s really that simple.

The great thing about early access is that it comes with every mode you’ll want to play and that includes Connected Franchise. All 32 arenas have been rebuilt which is a boost to what seems like the biggest version of the feature in series history.
