Never mind foldable phones, now you can buy a folding mouse? Logitech has just announced the Mobi Fold , an ultra-compact foldable computer mouse designed for people on the move who want a pocketable rodent for controlling their laptop or tablet.

The new Mobi Fold has an innovative folding mechanism that transforms the pocket-sized device into a comfortable mouse. According to Logitech’s research, using a mouse instead of a laptop trackpad can reduce muscle strain by up to 22%. The Mobi Fold also features Adaptive Touch Scrolling and it has two customizable buttons for precision, speed and personalization.

This new pocket-sized mouse can connect with up to three devices via Bluetooth and is compatible across Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS and Linux devices. Logitech says that 72% of computer users own a mouse, only 26% use a mouse in public. The Mobi Fold is designed to bridge that gap by offering a portable solution.

For many workers, a desk is no longer the only place they work. Many of us toil away in cafes, hotels, at home or in a client’s office. And while using a mouse is often more comfortable and convenient, the main reason people don’t use one on the move is bulk and the friction of carrying yet another gadget. This small barrier can often be the cause of millions of workers using their laptop trackpads, which means slower workflow and increased frustration.

For a long time, people have left their mice behind simply because they were a hassle to carry around, not because they didn’t want to use one,” says Joseph Mingori, VP and general manager at Logitech. “With Mobi Fold, we have engineered a frictionless transition between the dedicated desk and working on the move. By delivering a comfortable, productive experience that collapses to nearly half its size—and reduces muscle strain by 22% compared to a laptop trackpad—we ensure a professional setup is a constant, not a compromise."

The Mobi Fold is designed to be entirely frictionless. Starting work with the Mobi Fold involves taking out the tiny Mobi Fold from a workbag, unfolding it and starting work with automatic Bluetooth connection.

Whether you are navigating spreadsheets line-by-line or scrolling through long documents, the Mobi Fold’s Adaptive Touch Scrolling is designed for accuracy. Two customizable buttons on the touch panel can be personalized using the Logi Options+ App to trigger shortcuts like switching applications or taking screenshots instantly.

With the ability to connect with up to three devices via Bluetooth (or the included Logi Bolt receiver with Mobi Fold for Business), users can switch seamlessly from a Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS and Linux device. The mouse has quiet clicks and is designed for use on the road. It’s been drop-tested, is wrapped in a dust-resistant silicone sleeve and its internal hinge has been designed to withstand 15 years of daily use.

Mobi Fold is made with certified post-consumer recycled plastic, up to 36% in the Graphite model and uses magnets containing 100% post-consumer recycled rare earth metal. The packaging is made with FSC-certified paper.

For corporations, Logitech has also produced the Mobi Fold for Business. The mouse is compatible with multiple operating systems and comes with a two-year limited hardware warranty and a Logi Bolt USB-C receiver for reliable and secure wireless connections, plus Sync support for streamlined IT monitoring and deployment.
