The computer accessory market is saturated with hubs and docks designed to expand computer connectivity. Cabletime, a Hong Kong-based technology brand, is addressing this gap with its new ScreenDock USB Docking Station.

Designed as a smart display dock for creators and professionals, the docking station provides expanded connectivity while keeping essential visual information within easy view. Featuring a customizable display and docking capabilities, the ScreenDock is designed to simplify workspaces, reduce desktop clutter and provide information users need in one place.

The new dock is being launched on Kickstarter with the promise of making app switching easier using the dock’s dedicated 5.5-inch color screen for displaying frequently used information. The ScreenDock can handle a range of scenarios, including productivity workflows, multitasking and screen sharing during meetings. Cabletime claims that combining essential connections in one device with a display creates a cleaner and more organised workspace.

Personalized Web Dashboards

Users of desktop AI coding tools such as Codex or Claude Code can create personalized web dashboards. Once generated, these can be opened in a browser and then transferred to the ScreenDock, transforming custom dashboards, project status, sales data, market watchlists, tasks and branded interfaces into a dedicated live display.

The ScreenDock maintains device connectivity with an HDMI output that supports resolutions of up to 4K at a 60Hz refresh rate. External monitors or televisions can be connected for sharing visuals with clients or colleagues. Photos and videos can be imported using the built-in SD and TF memory card readers.

The Cabletime ScreenDock supports transfer speeds up to 104MB/s for fast file transfers from cameras, drones and other devices. It also features an integrated 100W USB-C Power Delivery to keep connected devices powered while supporting a wide range of peripherals. A single USB-C connection handles both power and expansion for a more streamlined workspace.

Additionally, the dock has a Gigabit Ethernet port for wired networking, providing more consistent performance for video calls, cloud services and large file transfers, especially in office environments. A built-in USB display driver streamlines the initial setup process for a seamless extended display without complex configurations.

Pricing and Availability:

The Cabletime ScreenDock is being launched on Kickstarter with prices starting at $109. Delivery is anticipated in October 2026. As always with crowdfunding, ensure you carry out due diligence, as you may not have the same level of consumer protections as a traditional internet or physical retailer.
