Apple just announced the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and the first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo . But they’re not quite on sale yet. Here’s your comprehensive schedule of exactly what’s happening when, so you don’t miss a thing.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro: Pre-Orders Are Open

In case you missed it, pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max opened at 5 a.m. Pacific on Saturday, Sept. 12. The same timetable applied to the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. Pre-orders for AirPods 5 opened on Wednesday, Sept. 9, straight after the keynote.

Note that pre-orders and on-sale date for the foldable iPhone Duo will come later, as we’ll see below.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro: iOS 27 General Release

This is the next date in the iPhone calendar, and it’s coming on Monday, Sept. 14, as confirmed by Apple at the keynote. You can read full details of what’s in the release here . Expect the software to be available from about 8 a.m. Pacific, 11 a.m. Eastern, 4 p.m. U.K. time, a little earlier in the day than usual.

Note that iOS 26.6.2 is just out and it’s worth upgrading to this before you plump for iOS 27, whichever iPhone you’re on.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro Reviews

Suppose you want to see what the press thought of the phones, beyond their first impressions. A select group of journalists will have been provided with review samples soon after the keynote. Normally, reviews go live at or around the embargo lift time, on the Tuesday before the phones go on sale. My guess is that the later keynote will mean a review embargo on the following day.

Start looking out for reviews for the iPhone 18 Pro on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The usual time, though this can change, is 5 a.m. Pacific, 8 a.m. Eastern, 1 p.m. U.K.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro On-Sale Date

The big day is Friday, Sept. 18, as Apple confirmed last week. To be honest, it was pretty clear anyway, as it’s always a Friday and almost always the week after the keynote.

Stores are likely to open early, at 8 a.m. local time, meaning that the first images of people streaming out of an Apple Store with their proud purchase will emerge from places like Australia, while customers in states like California have much longer to wait.

And if you thought all the fun was over for another year, don’t forget about the foldable iPhone Duo…

Apple iPhone Duo Pre-Orders

These will open on the Friday before the phone goes on sale (and the only reason that didn’t happen with the iPhone 18 Pro is that the Friday in question was Sept. 11 so Apple held pre-orders to Saturday, Sept. 12). In the case of the Duo, that means Friday, Oct. 16. It’s likely that pre-orders will start at the same time they did for the Pro models, that is, 5 a.m. Pacific, 8 a.m. Eastern and 1 p.m. U.K.

Apple iPhone Duo On-Sale Date

The last iPhone to go on sale this year will be the foldable iPhone Duo and it’s coming late. Not as far behind the curve as the iPhone X was in 2017, which landed in November, but still later.

Friday, Oct. 23 is Duo Day, and it’ll start at the same times as the iPhone 18 Pro.
