Alex Pereira's Next Fight: Dana White and Nina Drama Announcement
Alex Pereira’s next fight announcement is just around the corner. We’ll learn who his next opponent will be on Saturday on MMA personality Nina Drama’s stream. UFC President Dana White will be there and delivering the news. Many expect it will be Sergei Pavlovich , but that’s unconfirmed. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming stream. Let’s talk MMA.
Pereira Announcement Key Facts
Pereira’s last fight was in June at UFC Freedom 250. Pereira lost his heavyweight debut by TKO vs. Ciryl Gane . At the time, the fight was for the interim heavyweight championship. Since then, Tom Aspinall has vacated the title and Gane has been elevated to the undisputed champion status. Gane is already scheduled to headline UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden where he will defend his title against Josh Hokit.
If Pereira does face Pavlovich and he wins, he could be next in line for the winner of Gane-Hokit. That’s almost certainly the fight the UFC will make if Hokit wins. While most fans won’t argue against Pereira getting a title shot, the man who should really be next is Alexander Volkov . If Pereira faces Volkov next instead of Pavlovich, that would be a more proper No. 1 contender fight. We’ll find out soon.
The stream runs on Kick, and the reveal came with a condition attached. White agreed to break the news only if Daniele’s Instagram post cleared 25,000 comments, a threshold that has already been met. He has used her stream for UFC business before, confirming Arman Tsarukyan as an official backup fighter there in May. One detail nobody has settled is the weight class, since Pereira is ranked third at light heavyweight and third in the heavyweight meta rankings.
