Looking for help with today’s NYT Strands puzzle? It’s funny, today’s theme is almost identical to yesterday’s theme, to the point that I was quite confused for a second. In any case, now that the confusion has passed, I’m here to help with some extra clues and the answers for today’s hidden words puzzle game. Onward we go!

Strands is the newest game in the New York Times’ stable of puzzle games. It’s a fun twist on classic word search games. Every day we’re given a new theme and then tasked with uncovering all the words on the grid that fit that theme, including a spangram that spans two sides of the board. One of these words is the spangram which crosses from one side of the grid to another and reveals even more about the day’s theme.

Read on for today’s theme and some hints to help you uncover today’s words.

Today’s Strands Breakdown

I found the word SPRING first and then I knew it must be part of the spangram, but I couldn’t find what it linked to right off the bat. First I had to find RADISH, LETTUCE and ONION, all of which were stacked nicely above. Once I had these and the spangram, I was able to find the two toughest words on the board: ARTICHOKE and ASPARAGUS, both delicious veggies. I might even make some asparagus with dinner tonight. Of these, radishes are my least favorite. They have a time and place, but the flavor is just so overbearing!
