HDR10+ Gaming Confirmed For Nine New Titles—Including ‘Crimson Desert’ And The Latest ‘Call Of Duty’
HDR10+ Technologies has announced today a slate of new games that are confirmed to be adopting HDR10+ Gaming technology to enhance their high dynamic range graphics performance.
Heading up the list of new titles (all confirmed to be released by the end of 2026) is Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 , which becomes the fifth COD game to support the HDR10+ Gaming system. Other highlights include RPG hit Crimson Desert and the F1 25 2026 Season Pack .
If you’re not familiar with HDR10+ Gaming, it’s the gaming-specific version of the HDR10+ technology developed by Samsung as a royalty-free alternative to Dolby Vision, where extra information is included within the HDR signal that compatible devices and displays can use to present a more accurate and usually more dynamic looking image.
The HDR10+ Gaming system, more specifically, is designed to a) help developers preserve their artistic vision across different displays, so that lighting colors, contrast and atmosphere are as faithfully reproduced as a display can manage, and b) save players from having to manually calibrate their displays for HDR, as the HDR10+ Gaming system automatically optimizes HDR properly for the HDR10+ Gaming display.
HDR10+ Gaming is designed to integrate with game engines as well as specific titles. Support is already available for Unreal Engine 5 through an HDR10+ Gaming plug-in, and it’s also been adopted by Electronic Arts’ Frostbite engine, Rockstar Games’ RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine) and CD Projekt Red’s REDengine.
The HDR10+ Gaming system is supported on pretty much all Samsung TVs and monitors, of course, given the brand’s involvement in developing the format. The HDR10+ Gaming standard ecosystem now includes more than 185 adopters and more than 7500 HDR10+ Gaming products worldwide, though, including leading GPU manufacturers and a growing library of compatible games.
The full list of new games now confirmed to be getting HDR10+ Gaming support either from launch or via updates by the end of the year is as follows:
