The latest Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay breakdown is interesting. Most of the GTA 6 gameplays are examples of extreme thirst and over analysis — and this one is similar — only there is actually something to take from it. Let’s talk GTA 6.

Here is a look at the clip.

What the Red and Yellow Markers Mean

The markers come from Focus, a meter in the top-left of the HUD that slows time and reads an enemy’s body for you. It is the mechanic Michael De Santa had in GTA 5, rebuilt. What is new is the choice it hands you. Red and yellow are not difficulty tiers. They are lethal and non-lethal, which means the game is asking whether you want to kill the person standing in front of you.

The Rest of the Gunplay Changes

Thanks to slo-mo, the 1-second sequence makes the clip 10 seconds. The visual fidelity is amazing and the precision marries well with the close-quarters shootout. It seems clear Rockstar hasn’t just focused on creating the most visually appealing and intentionally raunchy video game ever. It’s also poured tons of support into the gameplay mechanics. I didn’t think I could get more excited about this game, but this small preview has raised expectations even more.
